Marc Southey (b. 1974, Great Yarmouth, UK) is a contemporary artist based in London, UK. Working primarily in coloured pencil, pastel, and graphite on paper, he is best known for his distinctive and dynamic visual language that captures the green spaces of North London and surrounding area.

Marc’s work takes an intuitive approach to landscape, exploring the interplay of colour and mark making. His drawings are characterised by a fluid and expressive style that reflects his deep engagement with the natural environment and art historical influences. Notable projects include a series of drawings inspired by his local running trails and developed further through a sustained studio practice rooted in observation and memory.

Marc Southey has exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London as part of the Pastel Society exhibitions in 2024 and 2025. His work has been acquired by various private national and international collections, and he participated in Sky Arts' Landscape Artist of the Year in 2022.
